Bootcamp - Day 22

Howwwwwwwwdeeeeeeeeeeeeee *cheesy grin*

Caught up with Hamish this morning, his scales weighed me 4oogms heavier than the home scales so its all good!

Lynda asked how much I've now officially lost. Well since the beginnin waaaaaaaaaay back in January 2004 I've officially knocked off 67kgs - today's weight is 107.7kgs.

I emailed the surgery and advised my weight then paid over my money for the surgery ... so there aint noooooooo turning back - I aint losing 50% of my fee! So yep girls and boys its all on!

So my SECOND TO LAST session with Hamish was hard work. With all my extra emphasis on weight loss there is no doubt about it, I dont have the same strength/capacity for a gruelling muscle work out like I did when I was eating carbs! I told him about my shakes, thinking he'd go apeshit and he said ... at the moment you just need to do what you have to do - nothing like a vote of confidence!

Actually I emailed a mate about the whole eating thing at the moment. I'm really not comfortable with this strict regime - but I fully understand why I'm doing it. This regime is NOT sustainable and long term would not be healthy - I absolutely understand that, I guess its still really hard for me to actually come to terms with me "dieting". Seems weird after losing weight for 3.5yrs that I didnt consider myself "dieting". Dieting sucksssssssss, lifestyle changes are sooooooooo much easier, satisfying and not to mention tastier! LOL - ONLY 2 WEEKS AND 3 DAYS TO GO ... thats all I have to do.

Ok so the last suppa is sorted, the last cuppa is sorted, today I booked in for a pedicure and massage the weekend before surg, working on cleaning my house this weekend, I think I've pretty much got everything under control now. Craig will update my blog on the day of my op - he's gunna be a bit freaked so hopefully it will all make sense! LOL

You guys are all so cool, thanks for listening to my dribble!

Breakfast - cereal, yoghurt, LSA
Lunch - 100gms chicken, salad, 60gms cashews
Dinner - chocolate shake, pear
Water - 3ltrs
Exercise - 1hr PT session HARDDDDDDDDDDDDD, 20 mins walk after work

I've said it before, but I'll say it again. Brave brave brave, your such an amazingly gutsy woman who I've had nothing but admiration for, for the longest time.
Everyone knows that a loss of 67kg does not just 'happen'. It takes determination, grit, and a damn lot of hard work. You so deserve the very best results because you put in every bit of hard work required to achieve them.
Take care, I'm thinking of you.

Dribble?? Don't think so! I love reading about your bootcamp regime and totally see where you are coming from. I'm with your trainer ... sometimes you just have to do what you have to do. It's a bit like this detox thing I'm doing. I know it's not healthy just to eat only fruit and veges but it's only for a short period of time and for that reason it's ok.

Not only are lifestyle changes tastier, and easier ... they are more maintainable long term which is how I can see you have kept it up for so long!

I was looking at your start pic a little while ago and do you realise that the lady in that photo looks the age to be your mother? That shows how much younger you look now!! Go you!!!
