Bootcamp - Day 20

Day 20 and still going strong.

These shakes are actually really tasty and they really do fill me up. I was walking after work today thinking ... I'm sure I should be feeling hungry by now, especially when I thought about what I have eaten - which isnt a hell of a lot really, but everything seems to be going fine. The one thing I did notice ... I get bad breath after it LOL sounds strange, but maybe its the mineral additives or something, it leaves a funny taste in my mouth and I'm paranoid I've got bad breath LOL

I might buy myself a container of the berry flavour mix too, that way I can shake the flavours up (excuse the pun) i.e. chocolate or berry or chocberry! mmmmmmmmmm sound gooddddddd - how anyone could get so excited over DIETING is beyond me, but there you have it ... welcome to Leenie's world at the moment LMAO! I'm such a devil ;)

Good news today, finally I have been confirmed in my job and I have been given my business group portfolio that I wanted. It's taken 9 longgggggggg bloody months for this review to take place - and in the end nothing really changed ... waste of time and money and of course doesnt help with the stress and blood pressure levels eh? Dumb arses. Speaking of blood pressure, I'm half expecting a call from the nurses asking me to come back in for another blood pressure check - well that would be a farkin joke at the moment, I reckon it would be off the charts if I was to have it taken again pre-op LOL I REFUSE to go on blood pressure pills, REFUSE - I havent not worked this bloody hard for this bloody long to end up on pills. I strongly believe I can control this through diet - its just I'm under a bit of pressure right now ... so piss off and leave me alone Doc! LMAO

My abdominal binder arrived from the surgeon's office today ... its basically a 22cm wide piece of elastic which I have to wear around my middle for 7 days leading into the op. It's suppose to start restricting the venous system (clotting and stuff post op) and prepare my breathing capacity which will be restricted due to the internal stitching etc. Hence why my last week pre op will be rather interesting trying to exercise!

I've arranged a "last supper" with my work colleagues who have been my journey supporters over the last 3 and a half years. It's a kinda opportunity to say goodbye to the old me and prepare ourselves for the new me. These women (there are about 12 of them) are at all levels within my organisation, even including a Deputy Commissioner, Group Manager and National Manager and a couple of managers along with my day to day work mates who have put up with my trials and tribulations. Of course I'll be eating salad but they can tell me how good the steak, chips and desserts are!

I'd like to also have a "Fat Leenie going away cuppa" with my blog weight watchin buddies ... so if you are in the Wellington area on the weekend of 1 or 2 September and you wanna have a cuppa with a nervous highly stressed Leenie, lemme know and I'll tell ya where we can meet!

Breakfast - millet, tub of yoghurt, 2 tsps LSA
Lunch - chocolate shake, pear
Dinner - 100gms chicken, steamed cauli, broccoli, silverbeet
Snacks - 60gms raw cashews, trim flat white, 2 green teas
Water - 4ltrs
Exercise - Gym Weights Programme "A" + 1 hr walk this evening

OMG OMG I wanna come for a coffee... why do you live so bloody far away NOT FAIR *stamps feet*.

Girl wohooo for getting the business group portfolio that you have worked hard for... Well done you must be feeling great.

I hate having my blood pressure taken and wouldn't want to take tablets either especially when you have lost all that weight you would think it wouldn't be that high... Too many things on your plate me thinks... huh? Just take it easy hun we don't want you having a stroke or anything aye.

That binder will be like having tight clothes on all the time OMG... you have to send a photo of what it looks like... I am sure you will breeze through the exercise while having it on hun... you are a trooper.

Pure determination on your part! Very sensible choice not giving in to the BP medication. They don't tell you but you do find it's a lot harder coming of them once started despite what chances you make to your lifestyle. Mine always seems to read high when at the docs then settles, partly because I'm always worried what it is going to be!

Should be in for that coffee as well!

Congrats on the job confirmation, what a bloody drama aye?

Andrew has high blood pressure and has to go in tomorrow for an hours BP test?? Don't know much about it really so might need to pick your brains on Saturday.

Can't wait to see your HUGE loss tonight........GO LEENIE!
