Tuesday, 7 March

Our days in paradise are rapidly coming to a close. We have had great weather, some times the wind has picked up and its been a little cooler, but being out in the fresh air in beautiful surroundings kinda outweighs the weather issues LOL

I got a txt from Lynda at work saying my new laptop was going to be delivered today ... I wonder if it did? WHO CARES!

I had good intentions of getting up and going for a walk this morning but couldnt be arsed. Just lazed in bed instead! Had breakkie and then sat and read my book in my PJ's. Craig went up to the shop to get milk, bread and the paper. The news has just been on and its forecasting heavy rain and high wind warnings for Coromandel Peninsula coming through today @ 5:00pm!

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The last thing we want is the tent getting wet when we are planning on packing up tomorrow. When heavy rain and wind is forecast for the Peninsula it means just that ... we got caught in a mini cyclone a few years back and it isnt fun!

Decision made ... we are packing up tent and going home. We've had 10 glorious days ... cant beat that! We have no idea how long the bad weather might last for!

We started packing @ 11:00am and left Hahei at 1:55pm. We'd just finished packnig the tent and the rain started - talk about great timing! Stopped just outside TeAroha for a quick bite to eat as we had it all in the coolie bag with us. Stopped in Waiouru for dinner around 7:00pm and got in the door here in our beloved Silverstream at 10:45pm!

Damn what a way to end the holiday :( *pout*
