Another one down

boy those weekends go fast.

Yesterday was a cool day, it was my nieces 5th birthday party. She had 22 friends there! 22 of the little buggers screaming around the place! Actually considering there was that many of them there they were all pretty well behaved without too much mess and noise so I didnt get a splitting headache by the end of it! LOL

I was lazy didnt walk, ate party food and generally chilled out.

This morning we slept in and I didnt get out of bed until 10:15am!!!!!!!! BLOODY 'ELL that must be a record for me! Craig asked me if I was going to be athletic today and I said yes, I was going to be a resting athlete, and promptly rolled back over and went to sleep! LOL

I got up and made some hot cross buns (without the cross) hehe in the breadmaker, I said I'd take some into work tomorrow for the troops. I did my housework and then went shopping over to KMart. I was specifically looking for knickers and I reckon they have the best selection - much better than Farmers and The Warehouse. Anyway while I was there ... *grin* I found some black bengaline bootlegs, nice and long in the leg and they fit like a glove - Size 20 - so pretty pleased with that ooh and they were only $29.99! yippee. It was a shame they didnt have them in other colours because I would have definately bought a couple of pairs, I thought they were a nice cut and fit, made my legs look really trim. They had some lovely tops too, but I really had to pull myself away from them as I had another wardrobe clean out yesterday and I now have 25 tops in my wardrobe suitable for winter, so I really dont NEED any more. All I really need is another skirt and maybe a couple of pairs of pants for work - hopefully I might be able to find something at Ezibuy when we go up at the end of April. I actually tried on one of those gypsy style tiered skirts today. It was chocolate brown, sort of a crinkle cotton material. It felt really nice on, but I didnt buy it because I didnt have one of my buddies with me to give me an honest opinion on how it looked. I've always thought those types of skirts make me look like a house, but I was reasonably surprised and thought it looked "ok". However, it stayed on the rack and the $40 stayed in my wallet!

At the party yesterday, one of Craig's aunty's was there, she is a retired seamstress and I havent seen her since mid last year I guess. She was very complimentary on my achievements and we were talking about clothes and stuff. She was really surprised when I said I was a size 22, because she said I didnt look it, I had slim legs! teehee - walking obviously pays off! I was wearing my black jeans *makes mental note to self* wear those jeans more often! LMAO

I'm about to have my weekly clean up bath - got some delicious melon body scrub so going to have a good soak and clean up. WOOHOO

Food was ok today, had a good breakfast and a rice and chicken meal from the Kebab place at KMart. Dinner was steak and homemade oven fries with salad, mushies, onions and corn on the cob. Not hungry tonight and I didnt eat it all.
