I seriously thought it was the middle of the night when I heard the alarm go off this morning at 5. Hell ... it is the middle of the flamin night ... who am I trying to kid???????
"Morning athlete" was responded to with a "piss off" before I dragged my sorry arse out of bed and got dressed in my um athletic attire.
It was frickin freezing this morning too! The dogs slept on, the hubby slept on, the household slept on in fact I'm sure the whole of Silverstream bloody well slept on while I did what was "good" for me and wandered off down the station.
I think I forgot to brush my hair in the confusion.
Work out was good, I had fond memories of painful quads and pecs following last Fridays session, felt good today though, just a little tightness still in my quads - nothing that a few sets of lunges and squats didnt fix ARGHHHHHHHHHH
I dropped into the supermarket on my way to work and picked up some Vogels, fruit, salad veges and a tin of Salmon for lunch. I swallowed my 6 detox capsules and then made myself bananas on toast for breakie. They didnt even touch the sides. Then and only then did I allow myself the pleasure of logging on to my NEW LAPTOP! ooh and they even got me a flat screen ... I'm totally impressed! This thing is tiny, weightless, its primo! I'll get racing around all my risk meetings with ease WOOHOO ... it did of course mean I couldnt follow out my threat of going home if my technology issues hadnt been sorted out when I got to work!
Only 247 emails and 6 voice messages so that took me through to lunchtime quite nicely. I was ecstatically happy to find out I'd been booked out all afternoon in a team planning session - lucky me! At 2:30 I was sitting at the table with the heavy eyes, noddy head thing going on - insisting the team needed to take a break! LOL
I couldnt wait to escape, get picked up and come home!
I was extremely impressed with my eating today. I managed to stick to my detox plan. I also had 4 poohs and I lost count of piddles after the 10th whizz stop by 3:00pm this arvo.
Today I ate:
Breakfast - banana on 2 piece of vogels
Morning tea - apple, nectarine
Lunch - 2 pieces of vogels, half a tin of salmon, half a dinner plate of salad veges, apple
Afternoon tea - nuts & seeds
Afternoon tea post snack *giggle* - pear
Dinner - 200gms fresh fish, dry roasted kumara/potatoe - huge green salad, nectarine
I've also drunk 5 x 750mls water + 2 herbal teas + taken 12 herbal detox capsules.
I've worked it out to be about 22 points for the day and thankfully I dont feel hungry! I'll be having more or less the same tomorrow as well - woohoo.
Right beddle byes ... need to be up and out walking tomorrow morning!
