Well thats its ... detox is finished once my head hits the pillow tonight. No more capsules! I must admit I'm not too good at swallowing capsules so it was quite a mission doing 12 in one day, however, I have stuck to my game plan and apart from a few coffees and a blueberry muffin on Sunday I've been the perfect angel for 10 days. 10 DAYS!
Quite incredible really. Would I do it again? YES! Do I feel any better? YES ... in two different ways ... the first way is physically, I feel quite perky and alive, I feel like my hunger is a bit more in control, I honestly havent felt hungry during the 10 days which for me is a big thing! I also felt like I've had enough energy to continue with my exercise plans - even through the daylight savings change and coming back to work after two weeks off - the first couple of days I was headachy and felt a bit wiped out but I think that was just the post holiday blues. The other way I feel different is mentally. I feel like I'm back in charge again. All those old feelings are back - I'm worth it, I want to lose weight, I will lose weight, I will get to double figures, I will get to goal weight. Even though those scales were against me yesterday, I've overcome that pretty quick and I'm mentally recharged. So um I guess Im "detoxed" and with all the blueberries I've been eating lately I guess I'm "antioxed" ... so without all the oxes holding me together now I can only hope I'll still be in one piece this time next week! *giggle*
I officially own The Boots of My Dreams. I'm sleeping in them tonight. They fit like a glove. I feel wonderful wearing them and I feel so proud to own them. Now ya see its only fat chicks or post fat chicks that really appreciate a moment like this. Today at work Karen emailed me and asked me if I'd picked them up and Jo squealed with delight when I turned up at her place with them for show and tell. LOL@ us. Craig has already nugget and polished them for me and they are on my feet now. Oh and I thought I would wear them to work tomorrow too, now theres a surprise! This is a very special day in my weightloss journey ... to me its right up there with fitting in a plane seat, walking the Abel Tasman and competing in my Triathlon!

Had a good day at work today. Felt like I accomplished lots! Which is always a good feeling! I'm out of the office all day tomorrow in meetings, so I'm going in early to get some more stuff prepared for it. Will have to forgo my walk tomorrow morning!
Thankfully I walked tonight with Jo. I reckon we need to walk further cos we dont get all our gasbagging done in time! The circuit just seems to fly past and we've talked the whole way round, solved all the wonders of the world of course and also had a bloody good laugh at the same time. That Rhian is such a little doll she has got an amazing little personality on her.
I didnt go to the gym this morning ... I woke up at 5:00am with the most wicked period pain. Normally I'm not such a woosie but today I just curled up and went back to sleep. Even athletes dont escape monthly secret womans business damn it *sigh*

Woooohooooo yet again on those boots mate! They look awesome and I too will ONE day have some like that! LOL But like I said I really don't think you can do the Duathlon in them.. but you could try if you really wanted to! LMAO

Enjoy sleeping in the boots! What an rewarding goal to achieve. I know how you feel as I went out and got a pair last year and felt a million dollars!!
Quite an achievement doing the detox plan and really does sound as if you have control back - so your future goals of double figures, goal weight are looking very achieveable (an you will!)
WOW LOVE THOSE BOOTS. I have boots on my gonna have list along with leather jacket. What brand are the boots...I am going to a shoe tour for www.willow.co.nz on 8th April and the whole plan is to check out boots. I can image how high u r feeling go girl. I am pretty sure that this would be the thing you would be saying is the thing you done today to make you feel proud. AWESOME
just had to have another look at those boots to reasure me it will happen best keep them firmly on your feet when I visit heheheh
