crikey, I only found out when I got home this afternoon that I'd been wearing my knickers inside out all bloody day! Despite the fact I went to the loo a gazillion times today, I was obviously in such a rush to not notice my knickers were inside out. Coulda been worse those ... they mighta been back to front, upside down or I'd forgotton to put them on at all ! *giggle*
I had the most fantastic workout this morning. I went through my whole programme, concentrated on every move and I sweat bucketloads. Felt totally pumped by the time I got to work! Was starving of course and my vogels and bananas didnt even touch the sides! I couldnt wait for morning tea and ended up eating my roasted mixed nuts straight after my breakfast LOL
They day flew past and I also realised its two thirds of the way through March already - which means it'll be Easter before we know it ... damn the year is becoming a blur! I could swear it was only Christmas just a couple of weeks ago!
Detox today was great. In the car on the way home Craig and I were talking about that and my food eating over the last 8 days. It's not easy feat doing a full 8 days without any major slip ups. It's been a bloody long time since I can claim something like that! Anyway I am seriously contemplating the WW No Count Plan. The reasons being ... I like non processed food, I think its a mental and a physical like for me. Mentally I feel like I'm really doing something good for my body by not filling it with preservatives, colourings, additives, artificial sweetners etc. Also I really do feel quite good physically - no doubt that is spurred on my the good mental feeling too. The other thing with no count is ... I eat the same stuff every day. I have found the Detox is ok because I know what I can have and what I cant have. No Count is based on that ... there is a list of food you can have ... and specific guidelines around what you cant have with a little bit of flexibility with extra "treats" (i.e. WINEEEE) It doesnt cut out any food groups, it just takes you back to basics. So I'll make the decision over the weekend if I'm going to go ahead and give No Count a go.
Have organised a girlie road trip to Palmy for end of April. Pretty exciting stuff - it'll be great to catch up with Janene and Anne again. I need to email Felicity and find out when she is leaving Palmy, I've got a feeling its the same day. I also realised that on the Monday I'm flying down to Christchurch for a week with work! We are talking end of April beginning of May and already its go go go gooooooooooooooooooo. I'm already scheduling appointments, meetings and workshops into my diary for April. APRILLLLLLLLLLLLLL arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Which reminds me I need to make an appointment with Natalie in the next couple of weeks and get a new gym programme.
I've also come to the conclusion I need to step up to the mark and get some serious training in again if I have any hope of finishing the Duathlon ... its a 5km run ... *gulp* thankfully its broken up into 3.5km and 1.5km's but still ... if I thought I'd hung up my running shoes I better blow the dust of em and get em on my feet again.
It's dark and its winter and I'm pmsing *again* ... not good.
