Day 5, Day 6 *tick tick*

I had a challenge yesterday on my detox because I had to go out for dinner to my brotherinlaws 60th birthday party.

We went to Fishermans Table around Oriental Parade. I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE fish'n'chips they would be my utmost favourite takeway EVER. So going to a family seafood restaurant like that was always going to be a challenge for me. However, I did it - I divided and conquered and managed to stay in control! WOOHOO. I asked the waiter if it was possible to have steamed or grilled fish without any fat or flavourings added. He came back and said they couldnt steam it, but they would grill it how I asked. The salad bar was a help your self deal, so I had some lettuce/mesculin/green salad and added a few tablespoons of pumpkin and sunflower seeds and hey presto there was my dinner! YIPPEE FOR ME ... oh yeah I gave my croquettes *drool* to Craig

I did however, slip up and have a trim flat white. *shrug*

So yesterday I went to the gym as planned, had a great workout, stucked to detox plan and finished the day on 24 points.

Breakfast - vogels toast + banana
Morning tea - pear
Lunch - vogels bread + chicken + salad + 2 kiwifruit
Afternoon tea - nuts/seeds + nectarine
Pre dinner snack - corn thins with peanut butter and banana
Dinner - grilled fish + salad

Today I got out of bed and went for a walk! YAY - my first cardio for the week hehe. I really enjoyed my walk this morning - it was rather chilly so I walked with my jacket on, however I soon warmed up and my tshirt was soaked by the time I got home! My friend turned up and we went over to Whitemans Valley and picked blueberries - FRESH ORGANIC blueberries for $10 a kilo. PRIMO! They were gorg! I did the one for the bowl and three for me scenario hehe It's the end of the season now for blueberries but man they are so fat and juicy and sweet!

I made fresh bread for lunch today, had that with salmon and salad. Dropped off some blueberries at my mum and my muminlaws, went up town and did some groceries - fresh fruit and vegies to keep up going until shopping day - so I'm all set for the rest of the weekend.

Chicken breast for dinner tonight so that exciting :)

Breakfast - rolled oats with dried apricots & manuka honey
Morning tea - BLUE BERRIES! LOL
Lunch - salmon, cucumber, lettuce and fresh bread sammie.
Afternoon tea - BLUE BERRIES + apple
Pre dinner snack (bit of a habit forming here) - fresh bread with peanut butter
Dinner - chicken breast + dry roasted kumara + corn on cob + salad
Dessert - other half of apple crumble from the other night!

Thats 24 points exactly.

WOOHOO!
