I'm starting to dread nights

It's just so bloody uncomfortable! Last night I felt I was starting to feel a little bit more straight so I thought I'd try going back to the matrimonial bed, instead of sleeping in the lazyboy ... well I lasted an 2 hours before my back was killing me and I managed to haul myself up and head back out to the lounge ARGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH Looks like I'll be lazyboying it until the end of the week at this rate ... little steps leenie, little steps!

Once back in my lazyboy I slept (undisturbed) through til 5:30am ... so quite impressive really. I feel a bit wacked today. Busy weekend LOL I'm sure you get more knackered sitting on your arse doing nothing than having an active day!

My sister came and made/had lunch with us, Chris H and her lovely family came for a visit and then Craig's family had his dad's "birthday party" here late yesterday arvo. I was nearly asleep by about 6:00pm ... all the excitement got to me LOL

Craig went back to work today, he made my breakfast and cuppa coffee before going. I'm all sorted until my mum shows up around 10:00am to keep me entertained for the day. Incredible how my biggest focus on life at the moment is all the little things like ... shitting, sleeping, eating ... none of this big drama goal stuff like climbing Mt Kilamanjaro and the like - hehe

Actually this morning I had a bit of a reality check, I was sitting here waiting for some stuff to uninstall off my comp (YahooXtra have got a lot to answer for right now!!) when it kinda came to me what the hell I have actually done to my body. Now that probably sounds farkin strange but holy crap, I have completely rearranged my external body. Like, whopped off huge chunks of lard and skin that will never grow on it again. It's kinda weird now. I look down at my belly (which feels huge although its flat as a pancake) and I think holy crap - its all gone! Hard to explain really. Last night when I was laying flat on my back wishing the minutes away until morning, I was rubbing my tummy and I felt my belly button and I thought, man thats in the wrong place, but realised actually ... thats where its supposed to be! It's just pre op, everything was so out of place its going to take a while to get used to realising where everything is SUPPOSED TO BE! How is that for a lightbulb moment? So not only do I need to readjust my thinking around sizing, but now I need to readjust my mind to accept my new body part placements! *giggle* hmmmmmmmmm could take a while to get used to that!

Good morning mate, sounds like the lazyboy is the right place for you for a few more days.....poor Craigy.

Give us a bell if you need anything or just for a chat.

Glad to hear your 'straightening up' now. Lets hope those drains can come out on Wednesday because I reckon you will be walking HEAPS better then.

Ha ha! It's been over 2 years now and I'm still getting used to where my 'new' tummy button is, and the fact that I can't hide me car keys in the black hole it used to be!!! You will get used to it.... one day!

You must feel like a Picasso painting! At least you haven't got one eye on your chin or a tit on your knee!
