Gorgeous Day

it looks like its shaping up to be gorgeous out there today! I'm so jealous, it seems ridiculous to have such gorgeous weather and I'm fluffing around here in my dressing gown and slippers on my lazy boy arghhhhhhh - oh well, only another couple of weeks and I should be able to get back to basic walking again ... this is not particularly easy for me ya know LOL

I had a fantastic nights sleep last night - fell asleep around 10:30 and woke up when Craig let the dogs out at 6ish this morning! Woohoo! The lazyboy is a bit like the arc trainer I'm telling myself ... I dont like it particularly, but soon together we will be one! *rolls eyes* ... ahhhhh its just the small things in life that amuse me at the moment LOL

I've decided I'm not going to watch too much telly today ... I'm starting to get square eyes not to mention a pounding headache by the end of the day ... I dont know how some people can do it ... wake up every day and then sit on their arses feeling sorry for themselves because they dont have a job or life or whatever, no wonder they go insane!

I had another "body feeling" moment ... when I touch what I think is my thigh/upper leg its now actually my hip! LMAO! Cos originally it would have been the top of my leg, but now its been pulled up its my hip! See thats just weird. lol and Sue dont be so sure I dont have a tit on my knee ... my tits feel like they are drooping to my waist at the moment ... actually I dont really have a waist at the moment, I'm pretty straight up and down ... wonder if that will change once the swelling goes down a bit. I took a hip measurement this morning ... 127cms ... thats down from 143cms pre op *giggle* hmmmmm that might open up a few more clothing options for me ... ya think? Despite the smaller clothing size, I can still see my biggest challenge will be finding clothes that are long enough ... in the leg and arm - like jeans/pants etc. I'm still going to be a clothes mutant, just of a different variety.

I know was a fattie, it always used to piss me off when skinny minnies would say ... oh I cant find anything to fit ... well I can understand that now, doesnt matter what size you are, clothes are pretty stupid in their fit sometimes ... too big in the waist, too short in the crotch, too wide in the arse, too small in the thigh ... no wonder we are always in a clothing dilema!

Ok rambling now ... I'm getting a sore baboon butt (which desperately needs a wax now that I can see it) EWWWWWWWWWW, off to the couch for another day of adventure :)

Take care out there! Oh and welcome all the newbies, nice to meet ya and apologies I'm not really leaving many comments at the moment, I am reading ya, just not hanging around on here too long is all :)

Woo hoo!!! Wont be long and you will be out there pounding the footpaths or should I say "as long as it's into the shops"!!!! Well done on your recovery. You are just brilliant. :)

I agree..... Clothes shopping sucks for tall people!!! The first thing I do with a pair of pants when I get them home, is let down the hem at the bottom and take them in at the waist! NOT FAIR!!!

Clothes shopping - I think we all have issues, I had to grin at Jo's comment, I buy trousers - have to get them to fit around my tum, then have to take them up - and then the legs are too loose! Can't win!

"Baboon butt" love that! Can relate to that too! Pity John couldn't have chopped ya legs off and made em shorter eh? Dreaming...... sounds like you are getting bored, won't be long before you can go for a gentle walk... might pay for Craig to drive you to somewhere flat though! Shops..... hmmmmm....

Hi Helena - thanks for your comment:-) I went along to this new class *thinking* swiss ball, pilates, yoga - sounds easy....... Hell - it's knocked me - but I love the feeling of being challenged! After last weeks class it took three days before I could cough or laugh without holding onto my lower tummy!

Thanks for the low carbs hints - as much as I love them I do have to give it a try. This body needs a jolt.

You will be up and about before you know it! Just over a week now and look how you are doing!
