2nd Post Today! :)

Ok just got home from the surgeons - my first visit since hospital. I've still got all three drains in ... bugger it ... oh well I'm getting used to them now - they'll have to wait until next week now :( Other than that, he's taken all the tape off, it looks pretty damn hideous at the moment, although I am definately seeing the potential! woohoo ... I'm looking pretty hot I must say *giggle* He's VERY happy with the healing progress said I was still incredibly swollen, so it's very hard to see things right now and I'm thinking good god, if I stayed like this for the rest of my life i'd still be pretty damn happy LOL - anything is better than what I had. I have had a little "breakdown" on my bum crack, but he said everyone did and mine was the smallest breakdown he's seen so he's extremely pleased about that. I also asked about my outtie belly button! I'm terrified I'll end up with an outtie, but he said nope its very swollen and it "should" go in with time. *gulp* have faith in the man leenie, have faith!

I wore an old skirt in, some of you will know it ... its a lovely denim skirt with a "designer rip" down the front and a black underskirt. It's the only loose skirt I own so I thought I'd wear that in. Well I dont have a waist at the moment and so this thing was hiked up under my tits and it still looked like a huge potato sack - god it looked hideous - I'm thinking bloody hell I'm really swollen at the moment and the thing is still HUMUNGOUS on me - YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY lol

We got home and I had to go through the shower, where he took some of the tape off I was bleeding a little - I had to carefully wash right round the wound with soap and now I'm sitting here in my nightie drying out for an hour, before Craig has to reapply new tape. Just read the instructions and they recommend I wear tape over my scarring for 3 months! bloody 'ell! I'm a stickler for instructions so as the good girl that I am, I will do as I am told and tape myself!

I have to admit I had a little mini meltdown before I went to my appointment, just got really scared and nervous, dont know what of or why, but managed to hold it together once I got there ... stoopid eh?

It's only day 9 of recovery and I am going great guns :) who wants to see some gross post op wound pics?
