Crikey another brand new week again! Whew!
This weekend was a ripper weather wise, considering it was suppose to turn to custard and rain the whole time!
Spent a lot of time with motorbikes - theres a surpise! The excitement will wane over winter obviously, just making sure I get as much riding time in while the weather is awesome! Managed to get to Paraparaumu and visit my old boss - was a buzz on the open road - Trude was a wee star and made me sooooooooooo proud LOL Also picked up my girlfriends bike - shes got a Suzuki Intruder but its silver ... shes called her bike Prude LOL I think we need printed tshirts LMFAO!
I had refined carbs over the weekend ... i.e. white bread ... a disasterous no no for me ... why I had them well hmmmmmmm bit silly really - however it bunged up my system and on Saturday the lack of 12 inches proved that I need to definately stay away from it! Nothing good fruit and veges didnt fix by Sunday LOL @ me and my fascination with poo talk.
Ok so, apart from a couple of white bread rolls, everything is hunky dory. Got to the gym on Saturday, walked on Sunday for an hour and a half! I'm not sure who was more knackered me or Jack! Had a bit of a dilema on our walk. I had Jack on his lead, Craig was on his push bike following us around. We left home and went up to Shell Trentham, then cut through Trentham Memorial Park and the down the riverbank towards Silverstream. Decided to cut through to the back of Heretaunga Park ... Jack happily trotting along until we got to a stile in the fence. Now I looked at this thing and thought ... how the hell am I going to get Jack over this ... because we all know hes not the sharpest knife in the block. Now I know other dogs have got over this thing because I saw them walking the same way we walked. So ... picture this ... a stile about 2ft off the ground through a typical farm fence (no 8 wire). I manage to get him to put his front paws on the stile and his head through the fence, but do you think I could coax him to hoist his back legs up on the stile and pop through the fence ... nup, no way, he was flapping around with his back feet, getting his head tangled and front paws caught up ... I was almost wetting myself laughing at the silly bastard. In the end I had to keep his head and front paws pulled through while Craig lifted his back legs through and so he could bounce out the other side. LMAO stoopid dawg. See my girl would have been able to work it out ....
Anyway, I didnt make it to the gym this morning. Craig had a sore back and I was a lazy tart and stayed in bed instead of making the effort and catching the train. I took my gym bag to work with me and planned to go this afternoon, but my last meeting ran about 40 minutes over time and so I didnt get there! dern. Will go out for a walk tomorrow morning instead, so long as its not raining. Food and water all good!
Food today:
Breakfast - cereal, seeds, banana and yoghurt
Lunch - salad, tegal chicken roll from the deli (110gms), pear
Dinner - roast chicken left overs made into a stirfry
Snacks - mixed nuts, apple
Water - 3.5 ltrs
