Super Sunday

I had a fantastic nights sleep this morning, slept for 9 hrs and wasnt too stiff when I woke up. I think its because I wasnt worried about the wound or ongoing leaking issues and stuff - maybe I just relaxed for the first time in a couple of weeks? I had a snooze yesterday afternoon for an hour also ... so its all good - I think I've managed to catch up on some sleep!

Nurse arrived just after 10 and did my dressings. My sister in law turned up soon after and wandered down to Westfield for our brunch and shopping. I spent my vouchers on two pairs of lovely hush puppy sandals for summer and some earrings - very happy with my purchases. My feet have definately lost weight over the years, trying on various shoes today I found some were too big around my arches and ankles, that would never have happened a couple of years ago! Pity they dont shrink lengthwise! LOL I'm still an 11 and a wide fit. Bloody clodhoppers.

All that shopping made us girls a lil hungry so we had lunch at the coffee club - they do a devine chicken fillet sandwich mmmmm mmmmmmmmm. Tried on some jeans in a few different places. I have issues, I can get them to fit around my waist and thighs, but they are too big around the hips and make me look like I've got a blimin penis sticking out the front! LMAO So I need to wait for the swelling around my waist to go down, trim off a good couple of inches around my thighs and I should be able to go down a size - I knew my thighs have increased over the last 6 weeks I've been inactive! They really do look huge, hopefully with a bit of exercise soon they will tone down again :(

So after four hours we thought we better call it quits! Home again showed off my purchases then a quick trip up the club for a drink of the nonalcoholic variety for me! LOL

Got a roast chicken for dins tonight ... yummo! Need to be ready for the new series of Kath and Kim at 7:30 and then its CSI's. Fingers crossed for another good nights sleep tonight :)
