Awesome Long Weekend

well lately all my weekends have been long weekends, but this one was the real mccoy now that I'm a working girl again LOL

I went out on Trude both Saturday and Sunday - bloody fabulous. I did notice when taking off and putting both feet up on the pegs I felt the abs react, but thats all just part of getting back into the swing of things. Very exciting - felt great in my new leathers too.

Both Saturday and Sunday night Craig and I fell asleep in front of the TV LOL too much excitement and booze I'm picking LOL couple of nanna old soaks that we are LOL too funny really. Been a little unsettled sleeping again, I get too hot and then I wake up and I'm uncomfortable, so it probably explains why I'm wanting to snooze in the arvo or early evening.

Went to the hospital yesterday and had our first District Nurse Clinic visit. I'm down to changing dressings every two days now - looking at things they really do appear to be on the mend, so thats awesome - my goal is to get it all cleared up before ozzie in 8 weeks - so I can go swimming (although need to buy togs yet!) Speaking of Ozzie, we were with our mates on Sat afternoon at the pub and AirNZ rang to advise of flight schedule changes for our christmas flights! arghhhhhhhhhhhh we're still going out on the same day, but now we are flying via auckland otherwise we wait for the next day and thats no good to us as we have accommodation already paid down the gold coast, we do pick up an extra day coming home though, so thats not such a bad thing ;)

Saw some rellies on Saturday night also, they were gobsmacked at my transformation so that was lovely.

Also been for a couple of walks this weekend - so things are definately getting back to normal! Felt like summer yesterday, Craig and I sat in the gazebo drinking a red and eating nibbles, before a gorgeous bbq steak and salad for dinner aaaaaaahhhhhhh bliss!
