1st Full Day!

I survived - but boy am I going to sleep well tonight. Just got home and thought I'd chill for a bit before thinking about dinner.

Craig and I started the day off with showers and changing all dressings and tapes. Was a bit of a mission and we'll get more competent and faster over the next 6 weeks I hope! LOL

Enjoyed my day at work today - had my first team meeting and caught up on lots of the comings and goings. Did lots of reading - catching up on memos and circulars and research articles to help me get through the next few days of meetings which have been lined up for me. Next week will totally be back into the swing of things as I have to run a couple of workshops.

I'm back into my routine eating swing of things also - muesli, yoghurt and banana for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch, nuts and fruit for snacks (half a muffin also snuck in there somehow!) and 2.5 ltrs of water. I feel great foodwise come the end of the day - no bloating from eating the wrong stuff. Gotta love that routine.

While is was nakkid this morning (untaped) Craig took some updated pics of my progress. No holds barred, there are pictures of my OPEN wounds, so dont view the link if you are squimish. Post Op Pics - 7 weeks down

Wow, that is looking good Helena! What a great arse you have ended up with - who knew that was hiding there... hehe

The infection is scary stuff though - my main worry with surgery too. I'm aiming for a d cup (smallish D) and the surgeon thinks thats best for me to keep a nice round shape. I'll go with his judgement I think - anything is better than this size now!

You are looking great!! Amazing work:-) The wounds look a lot better than I thought they would be, it sounds as if you are getting on top of it now.

No more being a lady of leisure.

Yep I'm with the others ... cute as a button you are!!! Wonderful results and I'm sure the wounds will heal up soon.

Took the waterproof covering off my ankle today. Looks much worse than it feels. But healing nicely tho. sheesh mines only one cut, nothing compared to all yours!! lol

One curiosity ... you might have already posted this ... but what is your new weightloss? how much did you lose during surgery?
