Past Life

You Were a Giraffe
You are a high achiever - able to reach things others can't.A great communicator, you are good at getting past superficialities.

I reckon its the weather thats makin lots a people gwumpy. There are studies on it - apparently the POMs are the most depressed from the weather - I can totally relate to it after spending part of winter in their land ... I mean darkness at 3:00pm in the afternoon? - that would send anyone round the bend in a hurry. The last two weeks have been total shit weather wise - so fricken typical for the poor kids on their school holidays. Oh look its day one of the school holidays - you can tell because the weather has caved in. Studies reckon people need 1 hour a day of natural light - not necessarily sunlight, just light. Now if you are a gardener, zoo keeper or a roadworks lollipop person that wouldnt be too hard to do, but as an office worker ... I can totally relate to getting up in the dark and going home in the dark and spending the day under flourescent lightbulbs. Not really sure what the point of that ramble was, but hey who cares LOL

There are a couple of ladies who walk past my house every day (except weekends) at 7:00am with a black lab. Rain, hail, sunshine, darkness ... EVERY day. Now these guys must be the best of friends or just super dedicated to themselves. I caught myself wondering this morning (yes I have way too much time on my hands) were they married, had kids, high flying jobs, stressful lives ... but I thought wow thats incredible that they've committed themselves to this routine EVERYDAY - good on them. They've been doing this for months, I cant remember how long we seem them walk past when we are on our way out the door to work, but every day they are out there and today its farkin HOSING down (they had matching red rain coats) ... hmmmmmm I wonder if they are sisters! LOL Ok ... dunno what the point of that ramble was either ...

I'm just filling in time until I go for a shower. Today I am having a positive day, despite the shite weather. Gunna have lunch with my mum, do some shopping and then go into town and get this damn wound sorted out once and for all!

Ok, its official, Helena is almost better and now has far too much time on her hands in which to ponder a whole raft of trivia. lol

Thank fully it won't be long until your back at work as I figure you would have gone stir crazy in approx 15 more days.

In the meantime, if you have a spare minute on your hands heres something thats fun and gets you out of the house at the same time. Go find a speed camera somewhere, then park about 100 metres back from it. Then, (here's the fun bit) guess which cars are going to fast and are going to get 'flashed' You can double the fun by taking a friend and turn it into a competition. Two points for every time you correctly guess someones going to get flashed, and three points off if you get one wrong.
NB: added laughter can be achieved by watching the frantic break lights slam on as people suddenly realise the camera is there.

(much hilarity to be had.... lol lol)
