guess winter is here!
I actually dont mind it too much, especially if I can snuggle up in front of the telly with the fire going. Oh and bed is just THE PLACE to be when its pouring with rain and blowing a gale outside! lol
Not good for exercise efforts though, lose the motivation to do anything, add that to wonderful warming soups, stews, casseroles and puddings and hmmmmmmmm ...
Yesterday was a good day, had an electrolysis appointment first thing - I have to say I'm extremely pleased with the results so far - also hair my eyebrows ripped out. What is it about women and being hairless? Where the hell did that come from and whoever invented shavers, waxes and all the other hair removal treatments needs to be shot. It would be lovely to live in a society where people are just accepted for who they are. Hair or hairless, short or tall, skinny or fat ... I wonder if that actually exists anywhere? If it does I bet they dont have internet to tell us all about it LMAO!
My vet nurse girlfriend popped up yesterday morning and we took Calais bandage off. The wound looks really clean and not too ugly actually. Calais seems alot happier now that she can sit down and get up a bit more easily. Her stitches will come out next weekend. Jack seems to be doing ok ... time will tell when I go back to work tomorrow.
I went skating yesterday afternoon, had a blast hehe There was a teenage girls birthday party and there seemed to be lots of men there too, in their 30's/40's ... some of them were bloody good skaters some spent a bit of time on their backsides LMAO I'm going to get Craig to pull my wheels to bits and give them a good clean, they dont seem to be rolling too freely - it was playing murder on my thighs yesterday ... although that might be a good thing!
I've officially put my gym membership on hold until 7 July. I feel like I've lost my security blankie now! It's quite scarey! My sister in law is lending me her 6kg handweights and I'll buy a swiss ball after next payday, most of my exercises I'll be able to do at home. Never used 6kg weights tho ... 4kg has been my limit ... ah well always up for a challenge :D
Mothers day today. Taking my mum out for lunch and Craig's parents are coming over for dinner tonight.
Right now it feels like the temperature is dropping and the rain keeps coming and going. I'm going to quickly order my groceries and then I think I'll slip into my wet weather gear and take jackster out for a walk.

Hope all goes well with replacing your gym with swiss ball and weights at home.
Lauged about the hairless thing - the things we go through!!
Good idea re the gym thing! And as for walking in the rain - DON'T DO IT!! You WILL melt!! *giggles*
Hell hope u don't melt girl...well unless it is a good way of course every step u take does work of a smidge of fat so guess yes u will be melting good for you. Me I have sat on my fat lazy bum for several days doing sod all. Snowed this morning, walking in snow and chest infections are not a good mix.
Glad Calais seems to be coming right mate... but like you said the test will be tomorrow when you head back to work! :)
Am sure you will manage the 6kg weights without a problem. I do have a book with swiss ball exercises in it somewhere... in one of my still to unpack boxes... but if you want to borrow it just yell out and I will TRY to find it.
Glad to hear you had another good workout at skating, I shall hopefully be joining you again this coming Saturday.
We had the poor heater on high most of the day yesterday as well and snuggled up with a coffee on the couch.......I did actually enjoy that.
