I C U Baby, Shakin that Ass

gawd, I have that song on my brain at the moment. I think its because I heard it at the gym this morning and its stuck with me all bloody day!!!!!!!!!!

I had a blast at the gym this morning - a totally new program was just what I needed! The biggest challenge, crunches on a swiss ball. That is hard - my whole body shakes doing those. However, I did get my 3 sets of 15 done and boy did my abs feel it! I've been having problems with what I thought was my quad muscle, but apparently its not muscle, its more like a build up of tissue down my outer thigh, caused by the tendons and muscles taht run up and over my hips, the front ones being quite taught but the back ones being a bit slack and its creating a build up of tissue in between. Now it sounds pretty um ... technical to me, but he is a physio therapist and he said that is quite a common complaint and he gave me a massage technique and some exercises for it so I'll have to take his word on it and do as he said and see what happens. It was getting quite bad in that I'd only need to do a few squats or lunges and my outer thigh would be sore for a good day or so. Since I've been doing what he said, I've had no problems so I guess he was on to something!

As I was coming out of the locker room one of the regular ladies asked me if I was at a certain cafe the week before last, I had to think about that one ... but yes I was! She said she saw me there, but she wasnt quite sure if it was me or not and she said I was looking really really TRIM! Now I like being called trim, much more so that slim or even worse skinny. I dont want to be skinny (fat chance - scuse the pun - of that anyway). She was saying the reason why she wasnt sure if it was me or not was because shes only ever seen me in gym gear with my hair up and no makeup LMAO - she reckons I look "quite different" when I'm dressed for work. LOL

Why do we have to have body hair? *scratching armpits*

TOM has turned up ... good grief I am like clockwork.

Trim... what a fabulous word, especially when someone is saying it about you!!!

As for the swiss ball crunches, I haven't actually tackled my allotted quota at the gym yet. I'm so naughty! Must get in and do my weights routine at least once before my next assessment. Oops.
