Bloody Knackered

Well our house guests have left and life can go back to some kind of normality again. I love having house guests but I also love having my house to myself. We had a great time while they were here :)

On Thursday their first night I cooked a devine salmon dish and it went down a real treat. Friday I got up early went to the gym and had a fantastic workout. Friday night we went out for dinner and I had spinich and ricotta lasagne it was absolutely delish but man it was filling!

Saturday I got up early and went for a walk, then we did a quick bit of grocery shopping before heading over the Wairarapa with our guests. Went to Greytown and had a leisurely walk around, what a lovely quaint little town! Headed over to Martinborough and had lunch at the Wine Centre which was yummy and then we were home late afternoon to start getting ready for our family bbq dinner that evening. We had gourmet hamburgers - beef patties, chicken cutlets and bacon was the meat, then topped with salad veges and bri cheese all put together in my home made foccacia bread - went down a real treat! I also organised a pav, fresh fruit salad and cream on the side for those that were still hungry LOL I also consumed a whole bottle of wine on my own LOL bad girl.

The wind picked up again overnight and come this morning it was absolutely blowing a blimin gale so I flagged a bike ride or a walk and decided I deserved a rest day LOL

This time in 4 weeks the triathlon will be just a memory! I got an email on Friday advising they have changed the swim leg ARGHHHHHHHHHHH I hate when things get changed, I had psyched myself and now its changed! Nevermind I guess I'll just have to repsych myself LOL

We chatted with our guests until about 11:30 when they got picked up to head to the ferry and then Craig and I went up town to do a bit of shopping. We met some friends at the club, had a coffee and I had a couple of bets on the horses and walked away about $40 up! LOL I can never resist a good gamble every now and again - see compulsive addictive nature coming out of me again!

Right now I'm feeling a bit knackered, I could quite easily curl up and go to sleep - thats what you get from being lazy! I probably would have been fired up if I went out for some exercise this morning.

This week has been a good one though all things considering.

Points wise I went one point over my allowance of 180 including 12 bonus points. Although I did make 58 points from exercise this week. For some reason I'm feeling quite frumpy today, my feet are a little swollen also so that means I must be retaining some fluid - maybe the muggy weather?

Expecting a fun week this week, got a few things happening at work so it'll keep me out of trouble LOL
