Cool Day Off

I had a lay in today, stayed in bed with the dogs until about 7:30am! woohoo then I got up and atom and went for a walk. I wore a jacket, cos I really didnt know what it was going to be like and I sweat my arse off because it was blimin warm! Loved my walk today. I just love striding out, my MP3 player loaded with my fav tunes. I'm sure sometimes I forget that no one else can hear the music and I start singing! hehe

Came home had a delish breakie before hitting the shower. I was getting picked up at 11 by my sister. We were heading to Mum's to pick her and my other sister from Oz up and go out for lunch. Went to Mayfair Cafe, I had chicken kebabs and shared a couple of wedges with a sis. We then went to Lighthouse Cinema and watched the movie Mrs Henderson Presents ... Mrs Henderson was Judy Dench and it was bloody hillarious! Had some real serious bits too, but it was a great movie. Not a chick flick, not an intentional comedy, quite dramatic but based on a true story set in 1937-1944. The sort of movie you know your parents would enjoy. Was a PG but there was full frontal nudity *shock horror* ... of BOTH sexes! LOL Oh yeah, I should mention Rush Munros icecream in here somewhere *licks lips*

We dropped mum off after the movie and the three of us wandered down the Hutt to do some QUICK shopping. Now my sisters are not into QUICK shopping and I should have known better, but thankfully we didnt get there till 4:00pmish and the shops close at 5:30 plus I kept reminding them I needed to get the chicken into the oven if they wanted to be fed tonight LOL I'm sure the shop keepers absolutely love to see the back of us. We are seriously like a mini tornado - we scream around the shop, calling to each other, making each other try on different stuff and laugh like psychotic hyenas during the whole experience teehee

I tried on a gorgeous swing coat at Ballentynes - Cashmere Wool with a fur trimmed hood ... it was gorgeous ... *sigh* ... so gorgeous ... *drool* however I left it on the hanger and the $189 stayed in my bank account. AND it was a size 18! Next year that coat is going to be mine ... and it will be a size 14.

Finally got home and got the chicken in the oven, whipped together a spendiferous roast tucker and I've just kicked the whanau out so that I could do my bits and pieces and get to bed.

Up early tomorrow - gym day!
