A short long weekend

I've decided to not take Monday off and will be a big brave girl and go to work. Actually I'm quite looking forward to it, I think out of 20 in my office there will only be about 4 of us there - YAY! That means there wont be many phone calls and emails and I'll be able to get a heap of work done.

What a gorgeous day we had today - I woke up about 6:30 and dozed until just on 7:00 and decided bugger it, so I got dressed, grabbed my MP3 player, Jack and took off for a walk. It was a fantastic morning - the sun hadnt quite come up over the hills and it was a crisp, still morning - my favourite!

Morning was taken up with washing, tidying up, breakfast and then off to do some shopping - floor tiles for a bathroom, went to call into Arbuckles in Petone and it wasnt there anymore! Where the hell has Arbuckles gone???????? Home again, time for lunch and the Craig and I hopped on the Harley and shot up to Trentham Racecourse for the Annual All American Vehicle Day - wow that place was humming - there were soooooooooo many cars - it was bloody fantastic. Our favourite band "Turbo Rats" were playing so after we did the wandering around, we sat and listened to them for an hour ... I could have spent the afternoon laying on the grass with my darling listening to our favourite music ... that is until the sun started to cook us both and I had a very important date with a couple of girlfriends!

So by the time I got home it was after 4:30pm, washing in, dinner organised, ironing done, bag packed for the gym tomorrow and now its nearly bed time!

20 sleeps to Hahei O'Clock! Oh yeah, my good plans for dinner and a quiet night went a little haywire - Craig wanted to pop up the pub, so we ended up having a meal up there ... not a particularly well chosen one either - burger and chips, but we were home by 9:30 and I was in bed by 10!

Food:
Breakfast - branflakes, banana, seeds, milk
Lunch - 4 slices vogels, ham, salad, nectarine
Dinner - home made meat pattie, baked kumara, salad
Snacks - 3 apricots, plum, 6 vitawheats with PB and vegemite, green tea
3.5ltrs water
