It's the end of Monday and I'm desperately trying to recall where my weekend went! bloody 'ell!
I remember a hairdo, catch up with a couple of mates, housework, dinner out both Saturday and Sunday, spring clean of the bedroom (where the hell all that dust comes from beats me) and suddenly its Monday and we were up and heading into the gym @ 6:00am.
I felt really tired today, probably because of the silly weekend. I had a complete rest from exercise this weekend. Not even a walk ... I really just couldnt be arsed. Which is a pathetic reason for it really ...
For some reason I'm retaining water big time, my ankles are swollen and the water I'm drinking aint coming out. I am stressed at the moment, although after a reasonable day at work today I'm much more confident about where things are going at the moment.
Food today has been great, as with exercise. I was slightly over points Sunday and about 5 points over for Saturday - thats ok, I'm confident this weekend I wont have any issues.
Heres some things I found over the weekend that really tickled my fancy ...
- Podiatrists state that the average pair of feet travel about 190,000kms in a lifetime!
- Green tea has 50% more vitamin C than black tea.
- The average adult eyeball wieghs under 30 grams.
- Fingernails grow faster on your favoured hand.
- It takes a week to make jelly beans!
- Milk is heavier than cream!
- Four tablespoons of tomatoe sauce contains the nutritional equivalent of a medium sized tomato.
- The cashew nut belongs to the poison ivy family.
- If the stomach didnt store food, people would have to eat every 20 minutes!
Made a delish dinner tonight - a chicken pilaf - basically cooked off some chicken, spices, capsicum, red/yellow peppers, mushrooms, brocolli, threw in 750mls of chicken stock and a cup of basmati rice and let it all cook down until rice tender - was absolutely delish!
