Winter Solstice

Greetings and happy winter Solstice,

We are at that powerful point in the year when the wheel of natural time turns once more into another important cycle. Winter Solstice is a time of the shortest day, or in metaphor speak, "the darkest hour before the new dawn". This Solstice also coincides with a waning moon, which will go new in Cancer on Monday 26th. The astrology pattern for the next week or two is very confrontational and there could be signs of conflict around you or coming up within you. For the next week I would suggest not taking on any new projects and work within your limits, do not stretch yourself too much.

Situations on the home and family fronts could be challenging, so remember to keep communication lines open and express how you feel in loving ways. I would be very aware to tie up loose ends and try to get closure on anything that is unresolved or is causing undue worry and stress. After the 27th June, new ideas and possibilities may emerge in a powerful rush and this would be great time to begin the implementation of that grand dream or venture, however with Mercury going retrograde on the 6th July, you may not get any real forward traction on your project until later in July. Still, this is a good time to discuss the possibilities, prepare the way and do your research.

As this solstice is all about moving from the 'dark', to the new 'light', this is the best time to dump all that clutter you have accumulated, both around your house and in your mind*take a good look at your beliefs and remember to focus on your 'life', in the primary instance, rather than your 'life situation'. Your 'situation' is all the outer external forces pulling and tugging at you, which is distracting us from our 'being'. When we are in our heart centre and designing our lives consciously, our outer lives reflect that, and we get the 'perfect situation' of ease, grace, love and abundant flow.
