Wicked Wednesday

holy crap did I have the cardio work out from hell today. Self imposed! I jumped back on the rower ... I havent been on the rower in months. Well I did 1000mtrs - 4mins 11sec and when I got off I could hardly walk, it killed my legs completely! I grin and bear it *being the athlete that I am* and got on the treadmill walking 6.5kms on lvl 4 incline for 15 minutes ... thennnnnnnnn jumped on the arc trainer for 10 minutes on the hill interval programme level 5. I was feeling a little shakey after getting off that puppy, so I carried on over to the spin bike ... I lasted 5 mins before my quads caved in completely LOL so I did some stretches then punished myself all over again and got back on that damn bike and did another 5 minutes LOL I was saturated in perspiration - god it felt good! woooooooohooooooooooo - finished off with stretches and tummy exercises and after an hour called it a day. Fantastic!

Work was a blast today, I'm not sure if its because I'm in a better frame of mind or what, because the work hasnt changed LOL - it just felt like I accomplished lots. I'm really noticing a different in my mental attitude since I've given my diet a shake up again ... I wonder if it does have something to do with the coffee not spiking my brain sporadically throughout the day. I also wonder if the type of foods are maintaining my blood sugars nice and evenly because I feel like I have more oomph throughout the day ... even in that 3-5pm zone when everyone is starting to crash in the afternoon. I havent even had any sugar cravings ... spooky!

So food was great again today, I have my session with Hamish tomorrow - looking forward to it :)

Breakfast - branflakes, seeds, banana, yoghurt

Lunch - chicken salad sandwich, cherries, apricot, plum

Dinner - bbq marinated chicken, baked potatoe, half corn cob, vege stirfry

Snacks - apple, walnuts, apricots, 6 vitawheat with vegemite, lemon tea

Water - 4.25ltrs

Isnt it colourful?
My dinner tonight - chicken was marinated in fresh lime juice and garlic, soy sauce and chilli flakes - just for 1 hour ... delish. Stirfry was snowpeas, spring onions, red pepper & mushrooms in a drizzel of the Prenzels Garlic Rice Bran Oil

Well done - it is so good to see you fired up again. One thing, you know that video thingy on your site well I can't access your site most of the time because of it. Stu just loaded a different browser which has enabled me to leave this comment. I use Firefox normally and it won't load due to the video thing. Anyway just thought I'd let you know :)
