Oh look its Monday *again*

My weekend started on Friday ... I had the day off! It's a kinda ritual thing, my and a couple of the girls go out for an annual Christmas jaunt.

It started at lunch time Friday and I got home at 9:30pm! One bottle of wine and a few bourbons later ... "ahem"

Then on Saturday it was up and atom, we were having our family christmas party as we arent here for Christmas. My sister also flew in from Oz the night before and there were a few other unexpected guests and so we had 20 adults and four kids running around our place. Had a bloody ball! Thankfully the weather was absolutely fantastic so everyone was able to be outside in the fresh air and sunshine. Had soooooooooo much food - Craig and his Dad cooked spit roast pork and beef on the bbq along with a couple of huge chickens and guests bought salads and desserts ... it was great. That went from noon until midnight ... a bottle of wine and a few bourbies later ... (always knew I was a creature of habit! LOL)

Sunday was up and atom early again ... although this time with a huge hangover ... however it was another gorgeous day and we headed up to Harcourt Park for the bloggers Christmas picnic - was lovely to see the girls - a few newbies also which was cool - Chris, Ang, Charmaine and Sarah. Craig was the token male, he said he really enjoyed sitting back listening to us girlies talk girlies thing. Oh yeah, he was my sober driver ... um ... another bottle of wine - but no bourbies! LOL

For some reason I cant post pics ... I'll come back later and do that.

So today we have the day off, Craig and I have already been into town to the gym - I ran 10 mins on the treadmill, 20 mins on the spin bike and did my abs and stretches - it was bloody hard work - i think if I had sweat analysis done it would have been pure alcohol coming out of my pores! I can fully understand why this is called the silly season ... cos its just silly what I'm doing to myself LOL Got some shopping to do this morning, then heading out for lunch - might get my christmas cards done this arvo!

It was neat to meet you too Helena. I think you are shitting yourself about your upcoming Dr's appointment and panic eating! Don't let panic make you backslide on the diet front, you are doing fantastically, and you are going to look friggin fantastic once you are at the end of all this .... let me know how it goes with John!
