Takin Care of Business

Got that song on my brain at the moment - we have a thing going on at work and it was attached to a slide show and its been playing today LOL

Today I have been taking care of business - so its quite appropriate. I've been really active the last couple of days. Yesterday we went to the gym in the morning and I went out walking last night too. This morning I got up at 5:00am and went out for another walk - Jack just about crapped himself I think LOL

Speaking of Jack crapping himself - the funniest thing happened to us this morning. We were happily walking down the footpath when a cat pounced out from behind a fence, landed about a foot away from Jack and took off like a buck rabbit! Jack spooked big time, tail between his legs, ears down and he wanted to be out of there, I just about had a heart attack it gave me a hell of a fright ... my dog got stalked by a cat LMFAO! If someone had have seen the fiasco it would have been bloody hillarious! We got home in one piece in the end thankfully!

This morning at 10 I had a PT session with Hamish. He's given me some homework to do while I'm away. Our gym membership finishes at the end of this week - I've put it on hold until we get back - no point paying horrendous fees when we arent using them! I've got some exciting stuff planned with Hamish when I get back into town - very exciting, not spilling the beans now but its going to be big. Just what I need at the moment - a damn good refocus.

Tonight I've finally got my christmas cards and newsletter sorted out - yay for me! Tomorrow night its groceries and a couple of small errands, Thursday night its finishing off the Christmas pressies for the overseas coussies. Friday its another work Christmas function - the theme is Safari so our whole team is being face painted - its going to be fantastic. I'm being painted up as a giraffe - I've got my ears organised and will wear a banana clip in my hair to look like a mane. I just have to stay away from santas and policemen! hehe

Your "stuff" with Hamish sounds interesting - can't wait to hear all about it!
Can't wait to see the pics of you as a giraffe either! :)

Aww - those retrievers are such big softies!

Great feeling knowing that those little errands are all ticked off before Christmas (and your trip!)
