14:34

I am the Cossie Club Bathurst Womens Tyre Changing Champion! 14:34 seconds, for loosening 5 nuts and pulling the tyre off. Always knew I was good with nuts. YEEEEEHAAAAAAAW ... is there no end to my talents???? I am missing so many callings in life *cracking up* I think I might have to go apply for a job at Beaurepairs or something *grin*.

Yesterday it was Bathurst, and despite FORD winning, we had a blast of a day. Was quite an exciting day really, it started off well with me wearing one of Craig's Holden TShirts - size .... *drum roll* XL! double yeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaa. I drank copious amounts of bourbon, topped up with diet coke and we were at the Club from 11:15am until 9:30pm last night - you can just imagine what state I was in by the time I got home. Craig and I had today booked off as annual leave LOL
I lost 200gms on Friday, even with TOM so was absolutely blown away by that one. I mean what the hell? I am a total freak thats all there is to it. I just dont understand the way my body processes its fuel anymore, I am super good with food, tracking and stuff and I'm lucky if I have a loss, then another week I'll have a few treats here and there with alcohol and I have a loss. Hmmmmmmmm I'll take and run with anything I can get at the moment. I have to say though, I'm FEELING trim. I really do feel slimmer and more confident in myself that I ever have to date. I mean holy crap I was the first one to step up to the plate ... in front of all the guys and gals at the tyre changing thing yesterday ... I would never in a million years have done that a couple of years ago.
I had a phone call from WW today, my leader Deb asking if I'd like to consider setting my current weight as a personal goal weight and doing maintenance for 6 weeks and then moving to monthly weigh ins. A bit like life-time, its just that I'm not at goal yet. The reason they offered this is because I have literally (give or take a few kilos) maintained for 12 months now, Deb suggested that it might just take a bit of brain pressure off me to kick start the next round of weightloss. It's like a psychological plateau or something. I've purchased the spring pass, which pays me through to Christmas, I need the weekly accountability, so I'll just carry on carrying on and in the new year when I'm back from UK I'll consider the personal goal weight option then. It would certainly save me money thats for sure. It was nice to know that Deb has been thinking about me though - she's lovely and very supportive.
Saturday we had my niece and nephew stay for 24 hours, their first overnighter with us. We had some fun thats for sure. Craig and I were asleep on the couch by 9:00pm on Saturday night - we'd had a very active day with the munchkins - walks to the park, skating, bath time (bloody 'ell) and watching a movie with them. Little buggers crashed out early. Thankfully they werent up too early on Sunday morning, although they crawled into bed with me and we watched kids telly for an hour or so. After they left I took Jack for a lovely hours walk - the weather was gorgeous - I went out in a tshirt and trackpants and I was sweating by the time I got home!
This morning, even after our day on the booze yesterday, we got up early and went into the gym - worked out hard and then came home for showers. We had an appointment in Upper Hutt and had some brunch up there too. I've finally taken my wedding, engagement and eternity rings in for resizing! I havent worn them for about a year because they were so big I was worried I'd lose them if I wore them even on my middle finger. Anyway, I've gone down SEVEN ring sizes from a U to an N - incredible - it was quite a buzz! I get to pick them up in a couple of weeks.
The weather has turned out gorgeous now ... typical ... it was absolutely pissing down this morning!
