Well, its 2/3rd of the way through July and August will be here before we know it! Unbloodybelieveable!
Just starting to feel on the mend after a few weeks of bad health and then I get TOM yesterday - bless it - it just knows when to show up and make my day LOL I kinda feel like I have been through a bit of a wringer lately, one thing after another ... a maker of my own destiny? God knows I'm not the best patient in the world and when I get crook there can be noONE possibly more crook than me ... know wonder I'm an emotional eater - that good leenie/bad leenie thing starts talking to me ... and confusing the shit out of me.
I've made good choices and not so good choices over the last few days, nothering to beat myself up about but enough to not expect miracles on those damn scales next week.
There is some crazy stuff going on at work at the moment - some days it feels more like a bloody kindergarten than a professional place of work.
Yesterday was a busy day, went for my electrolysis appointment. Then Craig and I went shopping for some gym clothes for him. Got home had a bite to eat and then we took Jack out for a 30 min walk. First "walk" I've done since my archillies - I was a bit slower than usual, didnt want to push anything, but it was lovely being out in the sunshine and fresh air again. Damn I miss it. Craig walked Jack - Jack is a granny magnet. Craig wasnt getting hot babes coming up to him saying how cute his dog is ... just old ladies *giggle*. Jack the granny magnet - has a nice ring to it.
Didnt get to skating yesterday arvo either, felt like crap yesterday afternoon so I had a snooze on the couch instead - felt quite good after it. We blobbed in front of telly last night - watched the rugby and had an early night.
I got up around 8, got dressed and went into town to the gym. Had a nice 1 hr workout - did some stretches my physio gave me, only did cardio on the bike and rowing machine - made me really sweat which tells me I'm not over my cold yet. Went over the road and had some breakfast with great real coffee - was lovely to sit in the cafe and read the paper and not have to rush. Popped into Lower Hutt on the way home and tried on jeans in three different shops - K&K, Sara & Farmers. I'm a 22 at both K&K and Farmers but I could hardly do up the 24's in Sara ... bloody small sizing - or is it that other stores sizing are larger? LOL I'm starting to get a little pissy at not being able to find jeans long enough for me. The other problem I've got now is they are way to large around the thighs and then the zip sticks out from the crotch and makes me look like I've got a dick! Arghhhhhhhhhhh bloody body shape - thats what happens when you have an arse shelf with no ARSE! LMAO Oh well, I'll just have to push on and come right down in size and then I'll have a lot more styles and makes to choose from and HOPEFULLY something will fit my weird frame.
Craig is out motorbike riding today with a few mates. He usually rides his Triumph but today his mate asked if he'd like to ride his Harley so hes definately going to enjoy that for a change. I can see it now, he'll come home and ask if he can buy one LOL Unless we win lotto that aint going to happen in a hurry LOL
In the meantime I have the afternoon to myself YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOO - that winter sun is so gorgeous and warm, I think I might go have a snooze in it.

My girls crack up at my attempts to buy jeans. The thighs could fit an extra pair of legs in them, the back bit for my back side looks empty, and then I have trouble doing them up.
LOL I think I'll give up.
Tell Craig there is nothing wrong with grannies!!!
I have problems with jeans as well but you know my main problem - my silly damn height :( But at other times they can fit nicely around my thighs and heaps of room in the waist... and yes I think Sara has smaller sizings too hun!
Hope you enjoyed your snooze in the sun this afternoon :)
