Craig dropped me off at the gym this morning for physio. OUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH crikey those deep tissue massages bloody hurt. She gets her thumbs in there and just runs them hard up the back of my calf until she finds a knot and then OUCHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I'm such a wimp! However after the agony, she said things feel pretty good - fek she should feel what it feels like from my end! LOL and I can go back to walking again - on the flat for 20-30minute slots. Start small. Can then progress on to some hill work and she said I could start some gentle jogging on the treadmill again. I got quite a kick out of that one - she just said it in passing like thats the kind of thing I'd be doing anyway teehee - like I have athlete status and just itching to getting back to my "training" teehee Anyway she said I had long limbs from my ankle to knee (in relation to my height) however my calves are short and tight - she wants me to go in and have massage to loosen them up so I can start stretching them properly and elongating my muscles. Not sure about that - it freakin hurts LOL However, if I dont do anything about it then potentially I could end up having this problem occurring again and again - and thats not good.
Had a light work out and then went through the shower. I did the most stupidist STUPIDIST thing today ... I jumped on the scales at the gym and they were up about 1.5 kgs ... wrecked my day completed - swore and cursed myself for being female and had a bit hissy fit.
Got to work about 10 - totally unmotivated to do anything at the moment. I really am in a funk and its starting to fuck me off. All I want to do is NOTHING.
Had a gorgeous dinner tonight - home made Pad Thai - chicken breast, prawns, mung beans, broccoli, cauli, scrambled eggs, egg noodles all stir fried together with peanuts, spring onions, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and chilli flakes - YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM - one chicken breast and 10 prawns goes a long way - got some left over for lunch tomorrow so thats cool. Craig made us up a WW jelly for pudding WAHOO!
I'm not weighing in tomorrow. Going to go to the meeting though.

Excellent news about being able to increase a bit more of your exercises, I know you have been chomping at the bit to get back into it.
Your Pad Thai sounds fantastic!
Bugger about the scales, if it were me I would have to weigh in just to see if their scales were wrong or not.
Have you a recipe for the Pad Thai - or is it one of those that you make up as you go.
Easy said - but try not to worry abouit the scales, weighing in on different scales, different time etc.
Bugger about the weight hun but to be honest hun you have been recouping your leg so the HUGE amount of exercise you usually do isn't happening... YOU WILL get back on track you are my hero I know you will... Reading about your loss is the thing that is keeping me going... you have such will power and positiveness and I love the fact you stick to going to weigh in's even though you know you have gained... You are my inpsiration hun.
