Cripes!

All is well in the land of Leenie. Just been super busy and not inspired to post :o

Was in Auckland for two days this past week - early starts, late finishes so it wasnt inspired to get on the putey and update. Having a fab weekend so far. Yesterday we were out and about all morning. Craig went to the gym and I went for a 40min walk around the waterfront - oriental parade etc - was an absolute gorgeous day!. Went to our local vegemarkets here in Trentham - got freerange eggs for $2 a half dozen. Veges only cost us $16 for the week - very impressive. Had an appointment down at the hospital. Things are contining to improve, the wounds getting smaller by the day now - very exciting. Housework in the afternoon.

Jumped on a train late afternoon and went into Wellington to meet Sue and Craig for drinks, nibbles and dinner. (Yes she is still alive, and thoroughly enjoying life!) Had a fab night - lots of laughs and lots of drinking. Craig, Craig and Sue know each other from printing industry years gone by. Caught the 1:05am train home after stumbling through town to the railway station - sheesh. I vaguely remember polishing off a small bag of peanut M&M's - I was pissed off because I missed out on dessert at the restaurant LOL. Must have been close to 2:30am by the time we crawled up the hill home from our railways station, sorted the dogs out, sorted ourselves out and then fell into bed!

No hangover this morning - so thats all good. Craig cooked us a lovely brunch on the bbq and then we jumped on our motorbikes and went into town, doing the round the bays circuit and back home - took about 2hrs! Was such a gorgeous day - thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I am feeling lazy this afternoon and ideally would love to just go have a snooze or lay on the couch for the afternoon, but theres a few things that still need to be done. Mum is coming over for afternoon tea, I felt *briefly* energetic so made a small batch of afgan cookies. My favourites. Tonight we are going to have the most devine dinner - lamb steak, asparagus, kumara, courgettes and peppers all grilled on the bbq - YUMMMMMMMMMM

I fly out to Oz next Saturday - work conference - will be gone five days. It will be good but I'm not as excited about it as I thought I might be. Probably because 3 weeks later I'm going there again, but this time with Craig and our mates. Going to have to control my spending! The conference venue is right next door to a huge shopping mall and casino! arghhhhhhhhh - this girl loves temptationnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. They will both be calling my nameeeeeeeeeeee.
