Ok so lifes a bit manic right now, but it should slow down again after this week! I was in Auckland last week for my second block course of my Nat Cert in Adult Education and Training - lots of work to do - 11 of us originally started, now there are 7! It's been really interesting tho and I'm learning lots!
Yesterday was great being home with Craig and the dogs - although Craig and I did spend sometime on our motorbikes! We went over the Wairarapa and yep I caned the Rimutakas - was good fun. Went to Gladstone Pub for lunch and it got quite windy coming back over the takas - apart from a 4x4 which came flying out of a side road I had no problems!
Today it was another up and early session - went into town to support Felicity complete her duathlon. It's the same event that I ran for Karen last year ... hard to believe that was a bloody year ago! Felicity is up with her mate Dawn and I also got to catch up with Sue and another blogger Lucinda who has moved here from Oz. The girls did great! We finished off the morning with a well deserved brunch - food was ok, service wasnt that great but food is food and it went down pretty quickly!
I popped into work briefly on my way home - I'm off to Hamilton this week - I get to go kickboxing with CM - very excited about that one. Actually last week in Auckland I did exceptionally well - I managed a pilates class, a "Fight Do" class (boxing/martial arts) - it was bloody hard LOL and also a Step/handweights class called Xtreme55 - it was an extreme 55 min work out thats for sure! Also did a couple of weights/cardio sessions at the gym and my eating has been great! so quite a successful week - lets hope this one coming is another one! I'm sure CM will keep me on the straight and narrow.
Right now its time to get the roast pork out the oven and enjoy a good meal with the family before I abandon them again.
Anne, Calais is 10 years old - but shes quite an old lady with it - shes had a couple of major ops in her life and its kinda knocked her around a bit! Dawn, Felicity and Sue!

Is Dawn from Auckland? Cos when I saw that first pic I thought it looked exactly like my friend's Mum - and her name is Dawn, and then I read the name - whoa - if it's not the same lady then WHOA!
Busy busy for you, good and bad huh? Your weekend biking sounds like fun :-)
Next time you plan a trip over the Rimutakas - do you think you could get to Castlepoint and come and visit?
Great to see you today - thanks for being such a great listener.
