You just never know!

I made a 111 call late this afternoon to the police!

While walking down the street to meet Craig after work, I noticed a suitcase ... on its own, parked up by a rubbish bin on the street. Now this rubbish bin happens to be outside ACC ... there was no one standing near it ... it just looked suspicious, so I called the cops. I had all these visions of the Trade Hall bombings in Cuba Street back in the 80's when that poor innocent janitor was killed ... the world is mental these days, who knows someone might having been taking a crack at ACC for all I knew! I certainly wasnt hanging around to see if the thing would blow up! LOL

Well apparently I'm not the only street weary citizen, someone else had called in and reported it too, but they took my name and all the details and I havent heard of Wellington being shut down for bomb disposal units so I'm presuming some dumbarse thought they'd throw out their rubbish? If that was the case then what were they thinking - dickheads!
