Live Journal has gone

oh crap! My journal entries from Live Journal have disappeared! I wanted to go back and read about my Abel Tasman walk and I cant get onto the site ... hopefully its a technical issue thats being sorted out and I havent been deleted off the face of the earth! Tomorrow marks the first anniversary since I did the Abel Tasman ... bloody hell ... ONE HOLE YEAR! I'd love to head down there again next week and do it all over again. It was so much fun! I must txt the girls and wish them a happy anniversary LOL.

Didnt weigh in on Friday, I'm in denial right now. arghhhhhhh i piss myself off sometimes, not so much in the fact that I am letting myself down but in the fact that I'm always looking at my journey in the negative sense I'm pulling and pushing myself all the time now and its quite frankly doing my head in ... maybe I need to see a shrink.

Got the opportunity to pop into the hospital and see Karen, Steph and baby Rachel on Friday evening, it was lovely. Karen's a natural. It's lovely seeing a baby that is giong to be so totally adored, loved and cherished - I wish all babies could have that in their lives.

Saturday I blasted out the cobwebs by going out for a lovely walk with Jack, Craig rode alongside on my bike ... my bike which I havent been on since May? My bike which is going to get a hammering in about 5 weeks time at a triathlon *gulp* - at least I'm back in the pool though, twice last week thank goodness - what a bloody blast!

Got back down to the markets and to the butcher before dashing back up to Upper Hutt in time to watch my niece in her first skating competition - she did a little routine and won her division, I had tears in my eyes, I was so nervous for her but she did great. What a champ!

Went shopping ALL afternoon yesterday. Met my sister out at North City Porirua and shopped and shopped and shopped ... bought a fair wack of stuff - a new small handbag for our trip - completely zips up so no bastard can pickpocket me. Some christmas presents, a new wool jersey from Kooky down from $198 to $39! bargain. My ultimate goal was to buy shoes ... um no shoes to be had *sigh*.

With guy fawkes and all those bloody awful crackers and things around we've stayed home the last couple of nights and had the dogs tucked inside with us and the TV on really loudly. Jack is ok, but Calais freaks out - poor wee poppet.

I got out on the harley this morning - for the first time. Now thats a blast. Holy crap LMAO! Not sure if I could do 8 hours on the thing, but I enjoy zipping up River Road to Totara Park, then back down Fergy Drive ... hehe Leenie Biker Bitch ... LMAO! Found it to be quite challenging on my abs, just holding myself straight and upright was a bit of a workout. There is definately something sexy about 1450ccs of motorcycle rumbling between your thighs.

I might go out for a walk this afternoon. I'm just feeling really tired at the moment. I need a holiday.

I just got to it by clinking on your old journal link.

BTW: I really enjoyed your Abel Tasman entry. I printed it off one day and read it on the way home. I'd like to do Milford Track one day. But I might start with one of the shorter ones.
