yep, just four weekends left and they are all full. woohoo!
had a horrendous gain last Friday, totally over being pissed at myself for being a glutton. Would have thought I'd have learnt by now ... but nope. On the upside my exercise is well back on track and full training is happening for my tri ... which is only three weekends away *gulp* I actually came home from work tonight and went out on my bike ... the first time in about 6 months - woohoo for me! That was on top of a full on workout at the gym this morning.
It's lovely and light in the mornings again, so I'll be out pounding the pavements tomorrow morning. Although no exercise tomorrow afternoon, its our wedding anniversary and we're heading out for dinner - usually we go away, but this year we've given that a miss. 14 years ... wow time flies!
Work has been absolutely fab, the bosses have been away! YEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAA lol I've had an awesome desk week, just tidying stuff up, writing up my conference notes, which are incidentally nearly a month old! gawd. Lots of coffees and um ... "networking". It's all good.
Saturday was a knackering kind of day, I was up and out for the morning with the gorgeous skinny minny Rachel. Got home and went back out for a family lunch, then out to skating, stopped at the club for a drink, got home made some dinner and we both crashed by 7:30pm on the couch! how sad are we?
On Sunday we finished all our Christmas shopping! Craig's annual shopping jaunt WOOHOO ... thats it no more pressies to buy, we're done and dusted. All our pre trip shopping is done now too and all we have to do is wait until our last lot of visitors leave in early December and then we can pull out the suitcases and start loading up! I even managed to buy Christmas cards, now I just gotta fill em out! LOL
I'm ready for a holiday now, I think my brain has already gone to the UK and now my body is trying to adjust to being braindead ... its no easy feat!
God watched a freaky documentary last week about a 620 pound (280kg) woman who lost 200kgs and then had a body lift, thighlift operation to remove the excess skin. She was a sad soul - major emotional and psychological issues she hasnt dealt with. Through a stomach reduction operation she has become rather than a healthy speciman, I thought a broken phsyically unwell woman. All at the age of 40 ... quite sad.
I may still be fat, but god damn I'm healthy :D (pickled in red wine i think!)

I saw that doco too - it was awful! I had the full body lift but didn't look as awful as she did after losing my weight! She was just SAD man.
Wohoo - no more Christmas shopping (or holiday shopping) very organised!!
I saw that documentary as well and was crying through it as I knew what she was going through.. I was NEVER that big but I felt for her pain!
Not long till your holiday my friend woohoo for you!! You are going to have a blast!
Happy belated Anniversary Wow 14 years is a great achievement nowadays hun as there are more people celebrating divorces than anniversarys so you are doing fantasically.
