Wow another crazy weekend has just flown past and theres only two left before we depart these great shores for Christmas - how the hell we are going to fit everything in I have no idea LOL
Yesterday we started the day with a gym workout! WOOHOO! I did my old programme - two sets and cut the weights by half - started with the arc trainer which I managed to do 10 mins on no worries - deadlifts, walking lunges, bent row and curls, press ups, modified arm presses and lat pull downs ... god it felt great! I could have probably done another set, but decided to ease back gently - which I'm glad I did because I'm feeling it a little today - shoulders, hammies and chest - not too bad, but enough to know I've done my first workout LOL god I love that "good hurt" :D
Then it was a quick shop before heading to my nephews 5th Birthday party. Man hes off to school next year - far out! He had a Pirate theme party so all the boys were running around in little pirate outfits and some of the girls were in fairy costumes - hey whats a party without fairy costumes eh?
It was great to have such nice weather, everyone (adults included) got to sit on the grass and watch the show.
my first ever .....
MOTORCYCLE RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was registered number 169 (trust me to have 69) LMAO! Everyone met at the Sandbar in Mana. We left enmasse at 11:00am and went down SH1, down Ngauranga Gorge, out to Petone - street parade down Jackson Street then back down the Esplanade and along the motorway back into town - Queens Wharf events centre. The ride in was incredible. Going down the Porirua motorway all I could see was a couple of hundred motorcycles in front of me. We rode about 80kph and it was just awesome to be part of. It got a bit slow riding through Petone and when we got into town, but it was really cool with all the people standing along the side of the road waving, clapping and cheering. I had a wee teddybear strapped above my headlamp, lots of bikers had toys strapped on their bikes or helmets - it was an awesome atmosphere.
Hey its Christmas and Santa knew I've been a good girl this year! *wink*
There were about 450 motorbikes we heard. The above pic was about one eighth of the bikes, they were parked up everywhere - lots of gorgeous Harley's - I've seen exactly the Harley I want in the future ... mmmmmm mmmmm it'll be hot!
Might use this pic for our Christmas Newsletter LOL. It was a great day out, the weather was fantastic and we met up with quite a few people we knew and met some newbies along the way. Will definately do it again next year. Will have to keep an eye out on the news tonight to see if they got some footage!

William had Harry the Clown at his party. Harry was awesome, made balloons for the kids and had them entertained for over an hour - really good.
After lunch we popped into the club and voted for the new Executive Committee - had the obligatory red while I was there of course. We then headed home and parked up under the shade of the pergola until 7:00pm drinking peach black russians! My new invention! LOL Through duty free I bought Kahlua and Peach Vodka, so I thought I'd give it a new spin and it didnt taste too bad! Makes a change from red! We had a reasonably early night - not because I was pissed but because we had to be up bright and bushy tailed for .....

MOTORCYCLE RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*squeal*
It was the annual Harley Owners Group Christmas Toy Run. All makes of motorcycles were allowed, so Craig took the HOG and I took Trude! You paid a registration fee and also gave a gift. The old style ambulance above and another ute were full of toys which will be given out by the Salvation Army to less priveledged children for Christmas - lovely cause I think.
Doing a couple of hours babysitting tonight, so best be off and get some stuff organised for the gym and work tomorrow.
